Top Tip

Make this on a mat that you can leave it to dry – don’t try and move it while it is wet.

How to Make

1. Take your clay and mould it into a circle big enough for your hand or two if you have small hands.
2. The circle needs to be about 3 – 4 cm thick.
3. Take a small amount of water and smooth the surface.
4. Press your hand into the clay until you have a good impression.
5. Allow to dry fully. This may take a few days.
6. Paint the handprint white and around it blue.
7. Let this dry.
8. Add details to the top of each finger to look like snowmen.
