How to Make
Step 1
Begin by using the template to draw and cut out the shapes from felt. Next, create a small pom pom using the green maker tool. To do this, open the small green pom pom maker and wrap white wool around one of the semi circles. Then wrap black yarn on top. On the other semi-circle, wrap your black wool around the pom pom maker. Close the pom pom maker and cut the wool down the gap through the middle of the pom pom maker. Tie a length of yarn around the middle to secure the wool in place. Remove the pom pom maker to reveal the pom pom.
Step 2
Trim the pom pom to make a neat fluffy shape. Then, create a larger pom pom using the same technique with the orange maker. Thread the pom poms onto a craft stick. You can use super tacky glue to secure in place.
Step 3
Next, stick on the penguins’ features.
Step 4
For the earmuffs, twist 2 pipe cleaners together and trim to size.
Step 5
To finish, stick the pipe cleaner to the penguin’s head with a pom pom on either side.
