These coffee filter snowflakes are such a fun craft to make on a snowy winter day! They’re really easy to make, they look gorgeous hanging in the window (or anywhere!) and it’s a great opportunity for kids to experiment with colour blending. It’s a craft and science experiment mixed together in one – and it ends up looking beautiful!

You know that Christmas baking smell? The one where if you close your eyes you can pretty much feel the excitement (and deliciousness… is that a word?) of the holidays? That is how these cinnamon ornaments smell!  The house was absolutely filled with the sweet scent of cinnamon!

This little paper roll Christmas village mysteriously disappeared, pretty much right after we made it the other day. I swear, I looked away for 2 seconds and my 3 year old had run off with everything – including all of the battery operated tea lights. He called me into my dark master bedroom closet a few minutes later, and he had set up a glowing little Christmas village on my closet floor. The little guy was so proud! He told me to sit on the floor, shut the door behind us and asked me which house I want to live in. Melt my heart, it was so cute!

Now that Halloween is over, we can officially get into the Christmas mood without feeling like we missed fall, right? These cute little reindeer are the perfect way to ease your way into holiday crafting!

I’m that person who always wears a Santa hat at Christmas. (Ho Ho Ho! I can’t wait for Christmas!!!) I bought myself a Santa hat when I was in high school. My friends and I had a Christmas party together in the school cafeteria, and for whatever dorky reason, we decided to wear Santa hats.
