Hello! It’s Megan from Homemade Ginger and I’m happy to share a fun winter craft with you today! I must confess, winter is my least favorite season, but these DIY popsicle stick snowflakes are just the thing to cheer a non-winter lover like me!

I’m not an artist – so trust me – if I can make this painting, it has to be pretty easy! I HAD to try this art project just because it’s fun. And cool. And sciency. (My browser is telling me that’s not a real word… haha) This salt and watercolor snowflake art project actually teaches you something, and I LOVE that!

These coffee filter snowflakes are such a fun craft to make on a snowy winter day! They’re really easy to make, they look gorgeous hanging in the window (or anywhere!) and it’s a great opportunity for kids to experiment with colour blending. It’s a craft and science experiment mixed together in one – and it ends up looking beautiful!

Well, my baby boy still isn’t sleeping very well. He’ll be a year old in a few days, and for the last week he’s been back to waking up two or three times a night. Teething maybe? Morning comes way too quickly and I still need to wake up to help the girls get dressed and get their hair done in time for school. We always seem to manage to get to school before the bell rings, but I tell you, I have no idea how it happens!
